The name Nooé is inspired by a knot, a link that connects what is separate.

A knot may seem small or discreet, but it has a superpower: holding different things together and creating strength.

That's exactly what Nooé does. It connects people, businesses, and causes, so that every gesture counts. Every donation, every action, every involvement becomes a link in a living, strong, and vibrant network.

Here, everyone has their place. Every connection strengthens generosity and social commitment. The Nooé Foundation is this central hub, facilitating encounters and transforming the desire to act into concrete impact.

But Nooé isn't just about money or donations. It's also about time, energy, and everyone's involvement. It's about making generosity simple, accessible, and truly fun. It's about creating connections, bringing people together, and ensuring that every action counts for the collective.

The origin

The Nooé Foundation's adventure began in Quebec City in 2019.

Driven by a desire to donate a portion of Mirego 's profits to non-profit organizations and to involve team members in the donation allocation process, a small group of employees mobilized to create an initial prototype of a digital platform. The proposed solution aimed to allow everyone to support causes, large or small, that were important to them, while also enabling them to experience the satisfaction of giving back as a team.

Over 100 organizations received support in the first year. Internal use of the platform was a resounding success. Recognizing that the average annual donation in Quebec is significantly lower than elsewhere in Canada, the idea arose to create an external foundation to promote the platform and enable other Quebec companies to mobilize their teams to give back, thereby contributing to increasing our average annual donation.
